Gugulethu Lower Primary School: first class student and a role model.
Siphumelele Higher Primary School: first class student and a prefect.

  • Chairman Debating Society;
  • Developed a self-study programme to overcome a shortage of Maths & Science teachers and an incomplete curriculum;
  • One of only 3 science students, out of about 300 at the school, to matriculate with exemption in the year 1982.
